In the first quarter of 2024, the social networking scene on the iOS platform in Europe saw varied performances from top applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the download figures, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular apps.

Threads, an Instagram app saw a decline in downloads from 1.3M in the first week of January to 751K by the end of March. Its weekly active users peaked at 3.7M in mid-March, showing a fluctuating yet resilient user base throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady revenue stream, with minor fluctuations ranging from $127K to $144K weekly. Downloads dipped from 723K to 468K, while weekly active users saw a steady increment, ending at 130.9M in the last week of March.

Telegram Messenger experienced a revenue rise in February, reaching over $1M, before stabilizing around $840K. Downloads remained consistent, hovering around the 500K mark, and weekly active users showed a slight increase to 45.7M in the last week.
